PRV induction reduces fuel consumption, increases torque, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions -- at no additional cost relative to a conventional manifold system. Consequently, smaller, lighter engines are facilitated with PRV induction, particularly when coupled with a turbo charging system. Independent dynamometer testing has demonstrated a 15 to 20% improvement in torque across the entire throttle range while concurrently delivering substantial fuel economy improvement.
Finally, PRV induction is complementary to hybrid technology and will improve the performance of ethanol-fueled engines.
