A Pintle-regulated Venturi can be installed as a replacement to the throttle or as a port induction device.

> Throttle body Induction

The pintle-regulated Venturi replaces the conventional butterly throttle and serves as a throttle and premixer to the intake manifold.

> Port Induction

A pintle-regulated Venturi is installed immediately upstream of each intake valve. The port fuel injectors are integrated with the Venturi design, providing direct fuel injection into the Venturi throat. Consequently, effective pre-mixing is accomplished immediately before the charge is introduced into the combustion chamber.
